While Jeff Ward’s new single is called “Watchin’ Trains Go By”, Michael Chrobok was certainly “Watchin’ Jeff Go By” at Nashville Superspeedway. The driver of the #9 Chevrolet outdueled his Canadian teammate in a thrilling finish, earning his first win of Season 5 at a track befitting a country singer.
Colton Salek finished 3rd and retained the series points lead, his advantage 11 markers over Ward and 13 over Chrobok.
A strong performance from Woody Mahan saw the #84 machine come home in 4th. Mr. Consistency, Mike Rasimas, rounded out the top 5.
