While Jeff Ward was out on the high seas, Michael Chrobok was on track seizing an opportunity to make up ground in the championship. In a caution-free race, the #72 team scored near-maximum points, winning the stage and the race at Pocono after leading the most laps.

Mike Rasimas mounted a late charge, surging from 4th to finish 2nd. Scott Eckrich came home 3rd. Brian Yaczik and Hard Charger Chris Stofer rounded out the top five.

With Ward absent, Chrobok moved to the top of the standings with a 75-point buffer over the #9 team. Drop weeks have yet to take effect, though; when they do, the projected difference between the two Loud Pedal Motorsports drivers is less than 15 points.

The Pretty Good Racing League heads to Richmond Raceway on August 1st for the Route 66 Paint & Wallpaper 200. Tune into the Virtual Grip Network LIVE at 8:50pm Eastern to catch all the short track racing action.
