Some may not call it a drought, but a six-race losing streak sure felt like one for the #70 Winternode team. That streak came to an end on Tuesday night, as Scott Eckrich returned to Victory Lane in the Everything Gets Better With Age 250 presented by GamingGuyL on Twitch.
The 163-lap event at the old Atlanta Motor Speedway featured intense multi-groove racing, plenty of pit strategy, and just two cautions. Scott Eckrich worked his way up from the 19th starting position to lead 92 laps and capture the victory. Jeff Ward and last week’s winner Adam Jurski rounded out the podium.
Points leader Vincent Crow suffered a DNF and finished 26th. As a result, his lead narrowed from 47 to 17 points over Michael Chrobok, with Eckrich lurking one further point back.
On March 28th, PGRL heads to the Circuit of the Americas for the It’ll Be Something Grand Prix presented by Brian Yaczik. Tune in to the Virtual Grip Network LIVE at 8:50pm Tuesday to catch all the pretty good action!
