With the driver’s side door pointed towards fans tired of him winning, Scott Eckrich wrecked backwards across the line to claim the *Chuckles* I’m in Danger 250. His 0.004 second margin of victory over Cody Dempster marked the closest finish in PGRL history.
Michael Chrobok finished 3rd, at 0.008 seconds back. Jake Silvia, who held the lead in the trioval, finished a disappointing 6th after going airborne and shredding the catchfence. Silvia was treated and released from the Pretty Good Bone Health Infield Care Center, remarking “I’m feeling pretty good.”
With the first drop week taking effect, Eckrich extends his points lead to 79 markers over Chrobok.
